This is a great overview on the Outsourcing Industry. We have noticed a lot of companies looking for onshore alternatives to offshore sites. For instance, MetaSource has onshore call centers that are picking up because a couple of clients wanting a more personalized customer experience.

Major trends are indicating that consumers and businesses are changing the way they buy and do business. Companies have to interact with their customers in the way their customers want, or they get left behind. This might be one of the major reasons that more companies are looking for onshore alternatives to offshore utilities.
